Rim Melake is joining SUPERRR as a Fellow and independent consultant, contributing to a project on content moderation and data work in Kenya and Germany, aimed at improving working conditions and fostering international solidarity.
She works in the World Bank's Digital Transformation Unit, focusing on digital and financial inclusion, gender equality, and digital development initiatives.
With a passion for participatory approaches, Rim brings deep experience as a certified design thinker and facilitator, applying human-centered methodologies to program design and dynamic workshop formats.
Previously, Rim has worked with different organizations such as IDEO.org, GIZ, the European Commission, UNWFP across Benin, Kenya and Ethiopia. During her time at Haskè Ventures in Senegal, she co-led the Venture Design Unit and supported startups and entrepreneurs.
Rim is the producer and host of the Spotify Original Podcast 'Para für Alle' where she explores how inequalities shape our relationship to money and personal finances. As a speaker and workshop facilitator, she creates engaging, reflective spaces that challenge norms and open new perspectives for exchange, learning, and understanding.
