Gürkan is a self-taught designer coming from a political science and music background. He has been focusing on social justice, information design and art projects. He participated in several exhibitions, publications and human rights projects in Istanbul. In 2024 he was accepted to MRI fellowship and moved to Berlin. Within this new journey he is learning, imagining and designing for inclusive, just, desirable futures at SUPERRR Lab.
