Hannah Lichtenthäler leads the policy team's work on digital violence. She brings extensive expertise in feminist digital policy, particularly digital violence, as well as digital children's rights and online child protection. In addition, she has many years of experience in nonprofit organizations, including Germany's largest child protection association and a major political foundation, as well as in feminist civic education and political advocacy.
For over ten years, she has been engaged in feminist digital policy on a voluntary basis and is active in netzforma* e.V. – Association for Feminist Digital Policy, where she co-edited the dossier “Care & digital transformation” (“Care & Digitalisierung”, 2022) and the publication “If AI, then feminist” (“Wenn KI, dann feministisch”, 2020).
Hannah also has an interdisciplinary academic background with master's degrees in North American Studies (M.A., Freie Universität Berlin) and Germanic Languages and Literatures (M.A., University of Michigan), with a specialization in media, culture, and gender.
